The Center of Excellence for Sustainable Energy and Climate Change (SECC) is the only CoE in Indonesia that offers a comprehensive approach to addressing energy-related challenges—from energy source management and environmental impact assessment to the development of qualified human resources in the energy sector.

SECC’s expertise spans a wide range of energy types, including new and renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and biomass, as well as conventional energy sources. One of SECC’s best practices is the implementation of horizontal-axis wind power plants (PLTB), which represents a concrete contribution to the advancement of environmentally friendly energy solutions. In addition, SECC has developed commercial products such as i-BEMS (Intelligent Building Energy Monitoring System)—an innovation for monitoring electrical parameters in multi-story buildings.
