Introduction to LPPJPH Telkom University

LPPJPH Telkom University was established to meet the growing need for human resources with competencies in the halal sector. Supported by the Halal Center of Excellence at Telkom University, the institution aims to prepare professionals such as halal supervisors, halal auditors, and halal jurors. The presence of LPPJPH not only strengthens internal capacity within the university but also provides services for the wider community across Indonesia.

Training Programs for Halal Supervisors

Currently, LPPJPH Telkom University offers training specifically for halal supervisors. This includes training for supervisors handling MSMEs under self-declare schemes, micro and small enterprises, as well as regular halal supervisors. These programs are continuously developed to adapt to the evolving demand for halal competency in Indonesia. Training is conducted periodically and ensures participants gain practical and theoretical knowledge aligned with national halal standards.

Certification and Collaboration with BPJPH

One of the key advantages of LPPJPH Telkom University is its official recognition from BPJPH. The training curriculum follows the national SKKNI framework and SJPH guidelines, guaranteeing quality and legal validity. After completing training, participants undergo an assessment process, and certification is carried out in collaboration with LSP, ensuring that graduates are legally acknowledged as competent halal supervisors. This strong linkage with BPJPH provides added credibility and ensures that participants are ready to contribute to halal product assurance.

Training Fees and Access

The training programs at LPPJPH Telkom University are offered at affordable rates. For MSME self-declare supervisors, the fee is IDR 500,000; for micro and small enterprise supervisors, IDR 700,000; and for regular halal supervisors, IDR 1,600,000. The fees cover training only, while certification is processed separately through LSP. Despite this, participants benefit from structured learning, practical exercises, and official recognition that enhances their career opportunities in the halal industry.

Role of Halal Supervisors

Halal supervisors trained by LPPJPH Telkom University play a vital role in ensuring compliance with halal standards. They are responsible for checking ingredients, monitoring production processes, and implementing halal product assurance systems within businesses. Their expertise helps guarantee that products labeled halal truly meet the requirements set by Islamic law and national regulations.
