The Center of Excellence (CoE) Strategic Advancement for Key Digital Transformation Indonesia (SAKTI), established in July 2018, is a strategic initiative to enhance Telkom University’s research capacity in digital business and telecommunications. SAKTI focuses on social transformation and the strengthening of business ecosystems to achieve excellence through digitalization.

This is supported by the use of advanced methodologies and cutting-edge technologies such as big data analytics, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and social computing. These approaches accelerate decision-making, enhance creativity, and promote innovation for global competitiveness.

One of SAKTI’s flagship products is the Smart TCMS (Train Control Management System), a platform developed in collaboration with PT INKA to predict maintenance needs, deliver real-time alerts, and monitor train operations—highlighting the synergy between academia and industry in transforming Indonesia’s transportation sector.
