Aiming to position Indonesia as the global hub of the halal industry, the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Smart Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) & Halal Ecosystem leverages digital technology to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs and the halal ecosystem. This approach carefully considers efficiency, productivity, environmental friendliness, supply-demand balance, and sustainability to meet consumer needs. With multidisciplinary support, including food and production technology, the CoE is optimistic in achieving its major goals. One of the CoE’s tangible services includes training and certification for halal process facilitators, as well as digital marketing training for MSMEs (fishermen’s wives) in Karawang.
