The Center of Excellence (CoE) for Smart Tourism and Hospitality (STH) serves as a platform that facilitates research, training, and digitalization activities—similar to other CoEs. However, STH specifically focuses on the development of sustainable tourism and hospitality sectors, encompassing five core aspects: accommodation, amenities, ancillary services, activities, and accessibility.
In fulfilling its mission, STH collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including government agencies, business and industry partners (DUDI), academics, and local communities. To ensure comprehensive development, STH is supported by multidisciplinary expertise in tourism and hospitality, marketing, economics and business management, communication and media, and other related fields. One of STH’s innovative products is CAVE LOTUS: The Corridor of Historical Time.
